Traffic Audit Workshop: Two Days to Understand Your Site's Search Performance
A focused program covering what actually moves the needle on website traffic — technical, editorial, and structural.

A traffic audit sounds like something you outsource and receive as a PDF nobody reads.
This workshop is the opposite of that. Over two full days, participants audit their own websites live, using the same tools SEO consultants charge several hundred dollars an hour to operate. The goal is not to produce a document but to build enough fluency that you can make informed decisions about your site without depending entirely on outside vendors.
The diagnostic sequence
Day one focuses on data collection and pattern recognition. We pull crawl reports using Screaming Frog, cross-reference indexing data from Google Search Console, and run a keyword gap analysis against two or three direct competitors. Participants often find issues on day one that explain months of flat or declining traffic.
Prioritization is where most audits fail
A typical website has dozens of potential improvements. Knowing which ones matter and in what order is the actual skill. Day two is structured around a prioritization framework that weighs estimated impact against implementation difficulty, using realistic assumptions rather than optimistic guesses.
The workshop accommodates sites built on WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, and custom platforms. Facilitators work through real participant sites rather than sanitized demo accounts, which means the session gets specific and occasionally uncomfortable in useful ways.
Participation is capped at 12 to allow enough time for individual site reviews. Wren Calloway, who manages marketing for a mid-size distribution company, described the competitor gap analysis section as the clearest explanation of missed search opportunity she had encountered in three years of hiring consultants.
